CertainTeed - Environmental Product Declarations - "Sustainable Solutions Corporation (SSC) was responsible for the recent publication of four CertainTeed Ceilings' Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). SSC played an integral role in developing and publishing the series of EPDs covering 19 mineral product families - the industry's first for ceilings products. These EPDs represent close to one-quarter of the total published EPDs in the U.S. to date. The process began with SSC conducting Life Cycle Assessments for CertainTeed Ceilings, which provided the data utilized to develop the EPDs. SSC worked with The Green Standard and CertainTeed to harmonize an existing ceiling panel Product Category Rule (PCR), which served as the basis for development of the EPDs. The EPDs were then third-party verified and published by The Green Standard." Read the full article here.
