9400 Ward Parkway Campus

SSC served as the green building and sustainability experts for the greening of this three building campus. SSC has conducted a detailed technical review and feasibility analysis including findings and recommendations for proposed sustainability initiatives at the campus. The sustainability initiatives include certification of the buildings to LEED EB O&M standards; installation of a vegetated roof system; integration of innovative stormwater management systems (bioretention, rain gardens bio-swales and other BMP's to provide reduced stormwater runoff and improved water quality) into the existing stormwater drainage system; a photovoltaic system; restroom retrofits to improve water efficiency; and energy system improvements. SSC is managing the development, implementation and documentation of the LEED EB O&M program with the campus sustainability team.
