SSC served as the LEED consultant for the design and construction of a proposed car dealership. The design includes LEED prerequisite analysis and credit feasibility checklists as well as energy benchmarking and the development of recommendations for improved performance. SSC designed a 500 kW photovoltaic system that includes a variety of innovative panel technologies. The design will also minimize water consumption by the facility as well as offset potable water use with an integrated rainwater collection system. This facility will also be held to a high standard of waste minimization through the use of recycled materials for the construction of the building and a comprehensive recycling program for the operation of the building.
