Planting Your Zinnia Flower Seed Mix

Mix Contents:

6 Varieties of 100% Annual Seeds Sourced from Eden Brothers in Asheville, North Carolina: Zinnia California Giant, Zinnia Dahlia Flowered, Zinnia Pumila, Zinnia Lilliput, Zinnia Thumbelina, Mexican Zinnia.

Plant Characteristics:

Zinnias are easy to grow and maintain. They create beautiful blooms that attract bees and other pollinators, butterflies, hummingbirds, and goldfinches.

Planting Season and Sowing Method:

Plant your Zinnia seeds in the spring, and they will bloom from summer through fall! The best time for planting is around Mother’s Day or after the last frost. You can either directly sow your seeds 1/2 inch deep or scatter them in the area where you want them to grow. Zinnias are annuals, which means you will need to sow new seeds every year.

Plant Height, Light Requirement, and Hardiness Zones:

Zinnias require full, direct sun to grow big and tall. With proper light, Zinnias will grow to be 25+ inches tall in hardiness zones 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 which means that your Zinnias can thrive no matter where you live in the United States!

Growing Conditions and Tolerance:

Zinnias are outdoor flowers that are drought tolerant and heat tolerant. They are deer and rabbit resistant plants which means they are less likely to be eaten by these animals.
